Default More relaxing things to do

Everytime I finish a mission or get really far in a mission and fail I get bored or "exhausted" of trying to do them.In many other games there are counters for this such as mining, fishing, and crafting.

Usually after I do a mission I sell the loot and then sign off, but if their were relaxing things that would benefit my character I would stay on do some mining then when im done I would go back to doing missions.

I know this has been over many times and but I don't want comments like "go play runescape", keep them to yourself.

What exactly are you saying? That you'd like more "side-activities?" Well, I would say, possibly exploring would be a part of this? But, yeah, I can see what you're saying. Perhaps, an area wherein there's just a ton of NPC interaction in a little, filled out town. You could just travel around and talk, and sit, and enjoy yourself. I don't know, but I think I know what you're trying to say here.

Well exploring can be pretty exhausting too.

Personally, I think fishing would be pretty awesome. Maybe some kind of actual fishing minigame. And once in a while your hook gets caught on something useful....

I agree speedtouch, I rarely want to jump in and start another big mission/quest after I've just completed one. Fishing might be fun, maybe earn some faction points for catching rare fish! lol

I agree with em all, I wanna mine for ingots, fish for scales, and craft for wood planks!
I like fishing though, its easy, and its fun. But nothing is funner than hunting pirates that love fishing too.

For fishing a type of mini game would be like renting a boat or buying one and then going all over the map looking for fish to catch. Then there could be pirates, water enemy's, or just go for sight seeing.
Certain fish could be worth more in some cities because they can't be found there.

I doubt this mini game would be implanted but anyway to fish or relax while getting some benefit in the game would be great.

Fishing
in Fishermans Haven, you rent fishing equipment. have a chance to catch a fish & sell it for 5gp....or eat it.

They wanted to do away with time sinks like this for Guild Wars, especially if it nets you items. If it's something to do for the hell of fishing, however, I'm all up for it. If anything, make a useless reward system. Have a title of whatever on how big the fish you caught is.

Like, Hearty Fisher. Or something.

I think its a good idea, unfortunetly with this good idea comes possible dire consequences.

I wouldn't mind seeing the ability to have 'side jobs' on Anet. Linking it to the past ideas of being able to build and set up your own shop (ie- you are a merchant on the side) as one. Another one could be you help out with the Ascalon post-searing cleanup

yeah.. really i think just ANYTHING we can do on the side would be a welcome addition. as it is, there's not much to do in PvE once you've completed hell's precipace. fishing, hunting, running a shop, anything outside of farming/exploring would be a great way to pass the time before the next expansion. it would help eliminate the grind, as a sort of "time sink" i guess you could say.

in silverpeaks they should have a /snowman and /snowangle function.. you could build a snow man army and rain terror apon the world!.. i mean have fond memorys in the montains

in some towns they still have some little hut things that are unused, maybe they are still planning something...

If it isn't a mandatory time-sink, then I am 100% for it...

Fishing in Fisherman's Haven?!?!? Whose psychotic idea was that?
